EverStone Homes wasn't born in a boardroom. It grew from a childhood spent on job sites, learning what it means to build something that lasts — with your own hands, your own name on it, and your community watching.
EverStone Homes is the product of a lifetime spent in construction. Growing up in Ankeny, Iowa, the founder didn't just watch homes get built — he grew up inside the process. His parents owned and operated DS Solid Construction, a name many in the Ankeny community will recognize, and one that stood for doing the job right.
From a young age, weekends and summers weren't spent far from a job site. Whether it was watching footings get poured, framing go up, or finishing work get done, construction wasn't a career choice — it was a way of life passed down through the family.
That upbringing left something behind that no classroom can teach: a genuine respect for the craft, an understanding of what quality looks like at every stage of a build, and a deep connection to the community those homes serve.
EverStone Homes is the next chapter — a builder with roots in Ankeny, building for the families who call it home.
"I didn't choose construction. I was raised in it. Every home I build carries the same standard my parents held — that your name on a house means something."
"Every home we build is a promise — to the family who will live in it, and to the community that surrounds it."
